  • What does GedaCure® look like?
    GedaCure® is a brown-colored round chewable tablet and the size of the tablet may vary depending on your dog's weight. In addition, GedaCure® may have a slight odor due to adding meat flavor considering the palatability of dogs.
  • When and how should I give my dog GedaCure®?
    GedaCure® can be taken with or without meals. We recommend administering it in the morning, but if this is difficult, we recommend administering it regularly every day at a specific time. GedaCure® is made in chewable tablet form so that you can easily administer it to your dog. Keeping your dog's condition in mind, please consult your veterinarian before administering the appropriate dose and method. Also, it’s fine for your dog to swallow the medication whole without chewing.
  • Where can I purchase GedaCure®?
    You can purchase GedaCure® at an animal hospital. If there is no animal hospital selling GedaCure® around your area, please contact us and we will help you as soon as possible.
  • How long do I have to feed GedaCure® for an effect?
    GedaCure® has shown an excellent therapeutic effect after four weeks in clinical trials. However, there may be differences between the dogs and the therapeutic effect timing may vary. Therefore, we recommend feeding your dog with GedaCure® continuously even if the effect does not appear immediately.
  • Is it safe to give my dog GedaCure® every day?
    Yes. GedaCure® is non-toxic and non-addictive. In addition, it has been shown to be safe through toxicity tests. No abnormalities were observed in most toxicity tests even when an excessive dose of 40 times the recommended dose was administered, and no special side effects were observed in clinical studies conducted at domestic animal hospitals.In a post-marketing study following the launch of GedaCure®, no significant changes in numerical values ​​were observed in complete blood count, blood chemistry, or electrolyte tests even after long-term use for 6 months. However, if your dog already has any other conditions, please consult with your veterinarian first before treating them.
  • Can I give GedaCure® to my cat?
    GedaCure® is a medication that has been approved for dogs by the Korean Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency. The efficacy and safety have not been verified in cats, but serious side effects have not been identified when used empirical off-the-label treatments in cognitive dysfunction and certain diseases under the prescription of a veterinarian. The safety and efficacy will be tested for cats through a separate clinical study in the future.
  • Do I have to let the dog chew on GedaCure®?
    No. There is no problem with the efficacy and safety of GedaCure® even if you grind it, so please appropriately feed GedaCure® according to your dog’s condition. Also, there is no problem with dogs swallowing the whole tablet without chewing it.
  • Is it okay to feed GedaCure® with other drugs?
    There have been no adverse effects caused by the combination treatment of GedaCure® with other drugs in clinical trials. However, we recommend that you feed GedaCure® carefully according to your dog's health condition. Also, consult with your veterinarian before giving your dog GedaCure® with the current drugs your dog is taking.
  • Could GedaCure® cause diarrhea?
    Weak side effects of diarrhea have sometimes been seen with GedaCure®. However, most of the symptoms disappeared on their own over time after taking the medication.This is believed to be a side effect caused by magnesium, one of the excipients of GedaCure, and in this renewal of GedaCure, the magnesium content was reduced to significantly reduce the possibility of side effects related to diarrhea.
