GedaCure

FAQ

  • What does GedaCure® look like?
GedaCure® is a brown-colored round chewable tablet and the size of the tablet may vary depending on your dog's weight. In addition, GedaCure® may have a slight odor due to adding meat flavor considering the palatability of dogs.
  • How should I feed GedaCure®?
GedaCure® is a chewable tablet that owners can easily feed their dogs. GedaCure® should be given once a day and at any time of the day, with or without giving the meal. However, since you may forget to give the medication or be confused whether you have given it or not, we recommend that you set a specific time and give the medication regularly at that time.
  • Where can I purchase GedaCure®?
You can purchase GedaCure® at an animal hospital. If there is no animal hospital selling GedaCure® around your area, please contact us and we will help you as soon as possible.
  • How long do I have to feed GedaCure® for an effect?
GedaCure® has shown an excellent therapeutic effect after four weeks in clinical trials. However, there may be differences between the dogs and the therapeutic effect timing may vary. Therefore, we recommend feeding your dog with GedaCure® continuously even if the effect does not appear immediately.
  • Is it safe to feed GedaCure® every day?
Yes, it is. GedaCure® is a veterinary medicine approved through strict evaluation by the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency. Even when the dogs took over 40 times the recommended dose, significant abnormalities were not shown in the toxicity test, and other specific adverse effects were not observed in the clinical trials at animal hospitals. However, if your dog already has any other diseases, please consult with your veterinarian first.
  • Is it okay to feed GedaCure® to a cat?
GedaCure® is a veterinary medicine approved by the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency only for dogs. We will verify the safety and efficacy of GedaCure® in cats through another new clinical trials later.
  • Do I have to let the dog chew on GedaCure®?
No. There is no problem with the efficacy and safety of GedaCure® even if you grind it, so please appropriately feed GedaCure® according to your dog’s condition. Also, there is no problem with dogs swallowing the whole tablet without chewing it.
  • Is it okay to feed GedaCure® with other drugs?
There have been no adverse effects caused by the combination treatment of GedaCure® with other drugs in clinical trials. However, we recommend that you feed GedaCure® carefully according to your dog's health condition. Also, consult with your veterinarian before giving your dog GedaCure® with the current drugs your dog is taking.
